The Covid-19 crisis could also have an impact on the index and parity of our salaries and pensions with those of national public administrations.

By the end of the year, there should have been an update similar to the one we welcomed last year.

 

However, since the GPD of most European Member States have dropped by 3%, the exception clause will be considered in the calculation. There should be no full salary adjustment by end of 2020 (the Brussels – Luxembourg index should be maintained). A carryover could be expected in 2021 or 2022 depending on the GPD growth.

This is just an assumption, as for the time being, the situation is pretty flux.
